Zika is an STD and Needs to be Considered One

Zika has become a more prominent and serious threat in the United States. The danger of it is that someone could have it, and could show no signs. Because it is an STD, it could seriously hurt a large majority of the population, effecting our next generation. The United States has had serious problems in the past addressing STDs that have caused epidemics, an example of that is AIDS.  The FDA has even realized the danger of it, and has called for testing of it in blood donations. The expenses of being tested for zika is also highly priced, and not covered by most insurance.
